DAY 9

this picture depicts a scene of a science lab
there is a group of scientist doing some experiment
from the picture we can see that there is a bottle of distilled water
perhaps it is use for cleaning the apparatus because it is purer than the normal water
as it does not contain any particles or minerals
from the picture we can see that the scientist are very eager and interested

i feel that science is a important subject
imagine if there isnt science
there would be no clean water
no fans
no electricity
no lighting
no gas
no cars
no transport
many illness that is curable but because of the lack of science it could not be cure
hence
to support science i wish that there will be more campaigns to promote science

DAY 7

this picture depicts a scene of a hawker center
form the picture we can see that there are many hawkers cleaning up their area thoroughly
in my opinion i feel that it is because of the recent outbreak of h1n1.in addition, we treat the hygienic seriously as we do not want our food to be contaminated.
as a typical singaporean, we are quite complacent, so i dont think that the hawkers will make the place as clean as whats shown on the picture

i think that hygiene is very important because if a person is down in flu and do not practice proper hygiene, people around him might be affected, and this case will even e more serious if the illness is contagious and fatal.

they seem to be happy as i can see smils on their faces. the teacher might be thinking of new way of explanation to explain to her students how to do the experiment. perhaps they are too young to understand certain things

maths is my favorite subject because maths is a kind of subject that requires intense thinking and patience. hence by doing a question correctly i will feel a sense of achivement which i cant feel in other subjcts

there are many activities going on, such as sun bathing
there is a group in the picture that captures my attention
there is many young children and a lady surrounding a mysterious stone
in my opinion, the lady on the right could be a geog teacher, teaching her students about different type of rocks

i feel that students should take part in more out door activities.
in my experience, staying at home makes me bored. in Singapore almost every home has internet accessible computer. hence we might play computer games during our free period
. however siting in front of the computer for too long is bad for health. so going outdoors is a better option, you can learn more interesting things such as going to gym, going out with friends.

DAY 1

there is a group of elderly formed a semi circle around the 2 kind volunteers
Most of them a wheel chair bounded
in my opinion i think that they are being abandoned by their children and forced to stay in the nursing home
there could be many reasons, such as , the elderly might have some disease , disabilities. however, it isnt the right way to treat our parents.
they have been working so hard for us for almost 30years and yet they turn up in the nursing home in the end.
from the pictue, these elderly might seen to be smiling brightly however in their hearts, they are not happy but sad and filled with regrets. what they want is their home not money

he is my grandfather 70 years old.
old but energetic, once a while , he would tell me some of his childhood stories
.
now he regrets being so useless. staying at hoe watching tv all day long.
he felt that he should have study harder previously.
Being a only grandson, he puts all the hope onto me, reminding me to study hard and create my own future.
if i could do something for him, i would like to bring him my good results
for him to be happy
